Jayme and Carlos made arrangements for us to meet in Copan, Honduras, tour the Mayan Ruins and then travel with Carlos to El Salvador. What a wealth of information the guide gave us about the Mayan civilization, culture and religion!

 Jayme's friend was conveniently the manager of this hotel and gave us a discount!

These posts, which only allowed small vehicles in, were at the entrance/exit to the City of Copan.

 This was the church bell which woke us up at 2am when the electricity went off and out muffin fan no longer drowned out nearby noise.

 Breakfast in the little restaurant was scrumptious!

These little 3 wheeled carts were taxis!
