The massage was fantastic!!! Thanks to an hour of Alicia's powerful hands, all the knots have been subdued, HURRAY!
Tonight off to a Stake Primary Presidency meeting in the Elmira Ward building at 5pm . Will be great to be on the same page. Barb only has 45min and has to be off to something else, so it will be an efficient meeting. :)Should be back home before I'm missed because Dad had to go to Albany today to discuss service issues, since they had to let their service tec, who covered that area, go last friday.` Offending the customers was the last straw.....
Didn't get to have my Lego buddy today, he has a cold, sigh. :( Hope he gets better before they go to Florida next week to be with his gramma.
Will be keeping Abrham Freeman in my thoughts and prayers as the doctors at Boston Children's Hospital attempt to discover what the tumors in his abdomen are.

WHAT! Something is wrong with Erics son? I had no idea, whats going on?
ReplyDeleteIt has been a whirl wind week!!!!!!! Abrham is Eric's youngest, 11yrs old now. Eric took him to the doctor about 2 months ago for pain in his lower abdomen, and the doctors, without physically examining him, said it was constipation. When he came back a few days later, the doctors disregarded his complaint of pain as Abrham being an "anxious" child, which he is most definitely not! Finally a trip to the emergency room when the pain was getting worse with no satisfaction again. On Sunday, Dec 13, Abe woke everyone up demanding that they attend church. On the way the pain got too much, and Karen suggested they call Boston Children's Hospital which they did. The woman at the hospital told Eric to put Abe in the car and start driving to the hospital immediately! But before they left for Boston, Abe wanted a blessing, which he received at church and then left. Long story short after blood tests, genetic tests and a biposy, Abe has Rabdomyosarcoma, a children's cancer in which about 20% survive if the cancer is found early and is in an ideal place. His is wrapped around the bladder and prostate and has already matasticized to his tail bone. His name was put on the prayer rolls of the Boston, Washington DC, Toronto, Provo, Mt. Timpanogos, and Salt Lake Temples. Yesterday he had bone tests and is to start chemo today..... This is going to be a long process....... Eric has requested that all who know them keep them in their prayers. Abe has requested that no one cry, which is a most difficult request to fulfill. The little boy in the bed next to him came back from a bone marrow test and was crying, so Abe told Eric to give him his stuffed toy to help the boy feel better. This is the type of cancer which my nephew died from, when he was 12yrs old after fighting the cancer for 4 grueling years..... What a thoughtful person he was too. The doctors say that that type of children are the ones who seem to be getting cancer, they seem to be able to deal with everything best. There is always a reason, and we will know it, when we look back years from now....... but for now our hearts ache for the suffering the children must endure.
