Ok Sarah, here goes. Did you know that:
I kissed 12 boys before I met my future husband, Tom.
I lived in a tar paper 2 room house with an outside hand water pump and an outhouse.
I'm a country girl at heart!!
I have owned: a Palomino horse, a Welsh/Morgan pony, a Collie dog, and many other dogs and cats, SEVERAL rabbits and chickens, milk cows and beef cattle.
I LOVE ALL animals, but the wolf is my most favorite.
For several years, I helped care for a half wolf, Vana, which lived across the street.
I got to pet a cougar at the zoo when I was volunteering there.
Several times while volunteering at the Zoo, I wrapped a boa constrictor around my waist and walked around with an amazon parrot on my shoulder.
I took a public speaking class, a personal psychology class, and personal typing class in high school. They have each served me well.
I have never lived outside New York, sigh.....
I HATE BEING COLD but would miss my grandchildren if we moved south!!!!!
I used to jump fences and race boys - me running, they riding bikes. Incidentally I won. :)
I have lived in Vestal for 30 years. This has become home.
I once died my hair black and HATED it immediately, so cut it to 1 1/2 inches all over to help it go away faster....... :(
I used to think that I was born in the wrong era, wanted to be a pioneer. Now I am one, first member in my family to join the Church.
I have never been this size in my entire life!!! have to get busy and walk more regularly!!
I have driven in Guatemala with no recognized license with a string of police cars in front and behind me, YIKES!!
I used to help my father repair his cars, like a giant jig-saw puzzle, LOVED IT!
I will eat almost anything, except Limburger Cheese, PU!!! and maybe a half developed duck egg.
I especially love chicken, lobster and shrimp!
I LOVE being warm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALL strong smells give me a HUGE headache.
My children are my best friends! They are not afraid to tell me the truth about myself. :)
My favorite part of Disney World was Epcot center (closest I'll ever get to traveling around the world), and the Swiss Family Tree House! (My dream house)
I have a sister who lives in MO and a brother who lives in NY!
My mother and father were members of the Eastern Star and Masons, and I was volunteered to serve and clean at every dinner they put on, which has served me well in many aspects of my life
It takes me a long time to develop relationships, and have difficulty maintaining them when they move away, sigh.....
I am glad to have this media to stay in touch with everyone!!!
