I found this on a facebook friend's post. It reminded me of a situation I never want to be in again! It was a REAL bull in a pasture connected to my great grandmother Elliot's farm, and he was heading straight for twelve year old little me with those pointy horns!!! Bulls were not supposed to be in the pasture, but there he was and he was angry that we were there! When he arose from chewing his cud and started charging, I ran for the fence. As I reached the fence and turned around to check where he was, he was ready to gore me. So I grabbed his horns and guided them around my waist; then quickly ducked under the fence, just in time to see my sister and cousin climb the tree he had been lounging under, with him close on their heals! They were stuck up in that tree with the bull laying underneath until the farmer came to herd the cows (which were also in the pasture) to the barn, around 4pm.
I was determined to get out alive!
No bull was going to ruin my day! :-)
