2013 review 2

Pictures are worth a thousand words so here are some more pictures of our visit with Karla and Wilson.
 View from our bedroom window
The view of the mountains from the corner of Karla's home
Local  Catholic Church's Amateur Radio station
Cyber Cafe where we were able to use the internet to send messages to family and friends
Table in the restaurant where we at a traditional Honduran dinner. Delicious
Natural Elmer's glue!! It really works!!!
The kitchen is to the right of the family room and behind the store. They had an opening in the wall separating the rooms so Karla can keep an eye on the store while cooking and cleaning in the kitchen.

This beautiful dining room is to the left of the family room.
Karla's family room and stairs to the formal living room
Formal living room with bedrooms and bath rooms off to the right and to the left of the stairway
This room is over the store.
The room we used for our bedroom. The door to the back leads to a beautifully, tiled balcony
To the left there was another door to the bathroom.
 Karla's store full of delights!!!
Before we came, the store was robbed, so she had this safety wall in and the store is closed around 8am and only a small opening in the outside wall allows people to purchase items they need. So sad.

It was interesting to see signs in English!
We spent a lot of time just spending time around the house having fun with the children.
Tom rebuilt a bike to turn it into a boys bike for Wilson David. He was so cute helping.
A new bike makes for a happy little boy!!
Where Tom bought the paint and supplies to redo the bike and other household projects he did for Karla. It's actually a Walmart!
Wilson took us to church on Sunday and gave the missionaries directions to come to the house. They brought Spanish Book of Mormons to give the girls.
They loved going for walks each day too!!
 and being read to!
And just being entertained, or entertaining us!!
Wilson is a very proud and kind daddy!!

 He loves his Nanny!!
Each morning he would knock on the bedroom door and ask for Papa Tom to come out and play. So cute!!!
 Alison was the same!!!

Erica is Fanny's sister and helps Karla with the store while Fanny watches the children and helps with the house work.
One day we went to visit Wilson's family. It felt so good to see them once more!!

Wilson's father found this log with a honey bee hive in it and brought it home. The bees continue to bring honey to the hive!
Love all the flowers in bloom in January!
 Cousins are the best!!

What an interesting potato chip! and tasty too!

One day we went to a park in town full of beautiful flowers and this huge tree!

Another day, he took us to a beautiful water park and restaurant! the food was delicious!
