Having been gone for almost 2 months this past Winter has put me a bit behind in reading the Ensign magazine. Thus last week while reading the article titled, "Meaningful Teaching At Home" in the January 2013 Ensign, a quote caught my heart and mind. Darrel El Schmidt said that whenever he felt inadequate in fulfilling his responsibility as a parent, he remembers a quote from Elder Neal A. Maxwell of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles which says: "The same God that placed that star in a precise orbit millennia before it appeared over Bethlehem in celebration of the birth of the Babe has given at least equal attention to placement of each of us in precise human orbits so that we may, if we will, illuminate the landscape of our individual lives, so that our light may not only lead others but warm them as well."
What an awesome thought that we not only may light the path of others by our light but that we may warm them as well!
