Day 13 - Grateful for a loving husband, who spent time with me throughout the day. We went shopping for little incidental things needed by each of us and I found a light, adorable, small, red camera which will be just right for our trip to Central America in January!

Day 14 - Thankful for friend's cell phones for ease in communication, while taking their daughter for her school checkup. My friend thought to send a permission slip to the school for me to take K from school, but forgot to give me one for the doctor's office allowing me to bring her to them for her physical. After a series of phone calls from cell phone to cell phone, we were able to get permission faxed. All went well after that..... Until she had to have a shot, which she was not expecting. Even that only dampened her spirits for a moment. I held up her dressing gown, so she could undress and dress in modesty, which she was grateful for. What a dear, sweet, 9yr old, young lady!
