HeeHaws Corn Maze

HeeHaws had several fun activities for the children to enjoy. First was the blow up Spook House.

While the children wandered through the fun house, we adults stood around chatting.
Someone has a very creative imagination to make these adorable swing horses out of old car tires!! There were also swing cars made out of old car tires!

Docia had fun wondering around with all of us. At times it seemed that she was getting over tired but she insisted that she was doing OK.
Hidden within this pile of hay was a trampoline for the children to jump off the bails and not get hurt. This was one of Gabe's favorite activity there.

But the slide won hands down for all of the children who came!!!

Gabe and Sam both rode down several times alone after their initial run!!

These goats were very friendly, especially when food was in hand. :)
Another great imaginative way to recycle materials was to make a train out of empty barrels! What fun!!
After Sam got out of the front car, Gabe wanted to go again so he could be in the front! :)

These go-carts were too big for the boys so Elaine took Sam.

Trina had Gabe get on the back since he was too big for her to see over to steer.

These goats were so cute!!
Look who's king of the mountain!!!!

The man driving the tractor told everyone to remain seated the whole time. As we neared the end we found out why. The wagon went over very rough land and bounced us around like sacks of feather pillows!!! We each commented on what it must have been for the pioneers riding in the covered wagons. No wonder they walked as much as they did!!
How wonderful it was to spend fun times with Sam and Gabe. Some days, I wish we could move closer. Then I realize that they may not always be in the same place and we'd have to move again. For now, we will make the most of what time we can be together.
This was another favorite activity there, the corn box. Some children were burying each other, while others stuffed their shirts with corn. What fun!!!
These air cannons, shot corn husks on the count of 3. They moved around while fastened to the fence, so they could be aimed at different targets. Gabe and Sam were so excited when they actually hit something whether it was what they had aimed at or not!! What fun!!

After they shot the cannons, we all except Docia went through the corn maze with corn stocks twice the height of the adults!! We followed the attendants directions of always going the same direction when a choice was needed to be made. It worked and we got out before we got lost and dropped of exhaustion. LOL!!

This pumpkin will be dropped on the car behind the fence on Halloween! It sure looks heavy!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
